Weaving the threads of fabric knowledge
Fabric Milestone 1771 - This was the year Arkwright developed the spinning jenny that spun thread. Before this time is took 7 people spinning cotton thread by hand to keep one fabric weaver working. Afterwards, 1 jenny supplied 20 weavers. WOW! -- this was a major technological advance!
