Who we are The DVPA is the largest organization in the world devoted exclusively to meeting the needs of those who use DV technology. We began as a community online in the mid 1990's and officially incorporated as an association in April of 1998. Where can you find us DVPA members come from many different walks of life from countries all over the world. They work in any job that requires them to communicate using a visual medium. This includes corporate video professionals, film directors, commercial editors, church worship leaders, nightclub VJs, and even advanced hobbiests among many others.
