and After Effects 7.0?


A: Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and After Effects 7.0 are both robust solutions for manipulating video and share some of the same tools and features. Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 is used to capture or import video projects onto your computer and is an excellent tool for editing, titling, and assembling all of the pieces of your video project for output in a variety of formats. Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 is used primarily as a timeline-based project assembly or nonlinear video editor. After Effects 7.0 is used to create motion graphics and visual effects and offers more than 150 visual effects filters, the ability to create 2D or 3D composites, sophisticated text ani- mation options, and a wide range of other features.
