Digital Video Professionals Association - Est. 1998

How know-it-alls become know-it-alls.

New look. New focus. New DVPA.

DVPA Newsflash on iTunesIntroducing the all-new Digital Video Professionals Association. We've spent the last six months redefining our identity and developing a renewed focus on expanding our services to our valued members. We've expanded our Online University by including the Total Training All Access plan at no additional charge to members. We've also introduced Danielle, the DV Diva, as our host for our weekly podcast, "DVPA Newsflash." Our all-new Adobe CS4 Resource Center is looking to be our biggest resource center to date. Needless to say, if you haven't seen the all-new DVPA...you haven't seen DVPA. Check it out and let us know what you think.

From the DV Diva...

Danielle the DV Diva: Join me each week to get the scoop on all things digital videoThis month in our DVPA Newsflash, Danielle has taken us through some of the new features in the Adobe Creative Suite 4...specifically in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. She's also filled us in on one of the best ways to distribute videos to your clients by using MediSilo. Not only does Danielle have the creative side covered, she's pointed us to some great resources that explain some of the best business practices in the video industry. By taking a quick look at Kris Simmons' eBook, "How To Grow Your Video Business," we've found out some easy ways to increase profits and productivity.

Blu-Ray Survey powered by DVDA

DVDA logoThinking about distributing your projects on Blu-ray discs, but think it's cost prohibitive? Now's your chance to speak up. Take a few minutes of your time and voice your opinion by taking this survey. Blu-ray Disc is the only high-definition optical disc format currently available. Many content producers who have investigated publishing on Blu-ray have found it to be complex, and expensive, and mandatory licensing requirements that did not exist for DVD or HD DVD.
