3D Evolved
As I stepped into the four story IMAX theatre, I knew that my senses were in for an overload. I knew that the performance would be stellar. I knew that the event would be unique. Still…all the online hype did not prepared me for what I was about to experience. From the impeccable sound to the massive size of the screen to the radical imagery…I was there. I was on the front row. I was on stage. I was transported to the most amazing concert experience…ever.
At thirteen I went to my first live concert and saw the upstart rock band Petra. By fourteen, I saw Bryan Adams with Glass Tiger…then Journey, Def Leppard, Stryper, Huey Lewis and the News, The Hooters. I was hooked. Over the last fifteen years, I've witnessed countless musical acts. Nothing would prepare me for the awe inspiring eighty minutes at a U2 concert in South America…in 3D IMAX!...(read more)
It's the end of HD DVD (As we know it) and I feel fine
I don't know about you, but I'm glad to see that the high definition war is over. In the end, both HD DVD and Blu-Ray were good for consumers. Of course, you might not agree if you're sitting there with an $800 HD DVD player and $500 in movies…on a dead format...(read more)

The version is a major release featuring a new user interface, 3D stereoscopic workflow, Python scripting, and a number of additional features and enhancements. Nuke 5.0v1 is available to all customers with current support contracts and anyone with a valid evaluation license. You will not need a new license key to run Nuke 5.0v1.
Some key features in 5.0v1 include:
• UI overhaul: The independent floating windows have been replaced with dockable panels within one main application window. The main window is divided into three panes, which you can customize or float in various ways to suit your preferences.

Here are a handy set of shortcuts to remember when you're working with layers in After Effects. These are the ones I use most often in my workflow:
•Move a layer to end of comp - Alt+End
•Import a file- Control+I
•Open composition settings- control+K
•Add selected source to top layer in current composition- Control+/
•Open Interpret Footage dialog- Select footage in Project window & Control+F
•Zoom in comp- ,
