Digital Video Professionals Association Launches New Online Adobe Production Premium Resource Center

July 2, 2007

The Digital Video Professionals Association (DVPA), the largest organization in the world devoted exclusively to meeting the needs of professionals who rely on digital video technology, announced today that it has launched the most comprehensive online resource center devoted to the newly introduced Adobe Production Premium, an extension of the Adobe Creative Suite 3 family of products. The new DVPA Adobe Production Premium Resource Center is provided free-of-charge at the association website located at www.dvpa.com/adobecs3.html.

"Adobe and the DVPA share a commitment to furthering the education of visual communicators worldwide," said Anita Engelman, video product marketing manager for Adobe. "I'm excited that the DVPA has joined with us on this major release announcement and I'm confident that the expansive resource center that they've created on their website will better prepare users to jump on the fast track to enhanced productivity with the new Adobe Production Premium."

"The DVPA is pleased to host this central resource center to enhance the technical understanding of our association members and the digital video community at large," said Benjamin Weeks, President of the DVPA. "The new Adobe Production Premium promises to deliver new power and workflow efficiencies and an understanding of this post-production technology will help professionals remain up-to-date and competitive. We especially appreciate the assistance from Adobe and several key association members and staff who contributed their valuable expertise to launch this much needed resource center in such a timely manner."

The Adobe Production Premium combines full new versions of Adobe's world class video and graphics applications-Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, Adobe Encore CS3, Adobe Flash CS3 Adobe, Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, Adobe Illustrator CS3 and the all-new Adobe Soundbooth CS3.

The Adobe Production Premium Resource Center powered by DVPA, a new sub-site, contains tutorials, product overviews and new features, in-depth video training from lynda.com and vtc.com, links for discounted videos, books, and training centers for each product in the Production Premium suite.  In the days and weeks to come, the DVPA will be adding advanced tutorials and podcasts for these specific new versions of the products.
