The all-new Adobe Production Premium Resource Center powered by DVPA was officially launched this week in conjunction with the shipping of the Production Premium suite. We've assembled some of the best tools for our members to better understand how to use the latest offerings from Adobe.
In this Resource Center, you'll find a guided tour by DVPA Advisory Board member Luisa Winters. Luisa takes you through each product in the suite identifying the key upgrades and benefits. The Resource Center also has the latest blog entries and tutorials from DVPA Advisory Board Member and Adobe Senior Manger Bob Donlon. We've also included access to text-based tutorials, streaming video tutorials, discounted books and DVDs, and a list of some of the best hands-on training in the industry.

Working with Vanishing Point with Photoshop and After Effects
Adobe has really created a time saver with this new integration. This new integration has allowed users to essentially create a 2d image and turn it into a 3d model! This is done by using Vanishing Point Exchange. Vanishing Point in Photoshop is typically used when working with still images to define the perspective of a scene or object. What vpe does is let you take the geometry data generated by Vanishing Point and utilize it in other applications. Note: You have to have Photoshop CS3 Extended to utilize this feature. After opening up a photo in Photoshop, go to Filter>Vanishing Point. We will start by defining a plane in the photo.
